Your First Link Up 3's Session: What to Expect

We're thrilled to welcome you to the pitch! To make your first session smooth and enjoyable, here's what you need to know:

Unique 3v3 Rules:

  • Scoring: Goals only count if scored from within the opponent’s half of the pitch 

Essential Gear:

  • Football Boots: Please check in advance if the surface is grass or 4G turf to ensure you have the correct footwear.
  • Water Bottle: Bring a full water bottle for high-intensity intervals – staying hydrated is key!

New Player Checklist:

  • Arrive Early: Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before the session starts to meet your Facilitator and get familiar with the small-pitch layout.
  • Mindset: Focus on 'linking up' with teammates. Our format is non-competitive and prioritises fun and mastery of the ball over winning.
  • The High-Five: All 3v3 sessions are designed to start and end with a high-five to promote good sportsmanship and community spirit.
